The ability to network is probably more important for entrepreneurs than any other type of business person. Richard O’Connor, founder of We-entrepreneurs has created a worldwide network of ambitious entrepreneurs who can learn from each other by exchanging ideas and experiences and help each other develop their businesses. Richard will talk about the importance and benefits of networking and outline his networking strategy. Come along to find out more! Speaker Biography
Richard O’Connor founded We-entrepreneurs in June 2003 with the aim of creating a worldwide network of ambitious
entrepreneurs who can learn from each other by exchanging ideas
and experiences and help each other develop their businesses.
We-entrepreneurs has over 1000 registered members and has enjoyed
over 110 successful events in a number of different cities including
Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Copenhagen, Aberdeen and Galway. We-entrepreneurs
is opening in Estonia and other Baltic states in the near future. The
organization aims to be operating in 10-15 cities in the next 2 years.
Richard is also a co-founder and director of Ambergreen, a top UK search marketing company. Ambergreen is one of the fastest growing marketing companies in Scotland and it has a powerful reputation as one of the leading players in the field of search marketing and it has worked with top blue chip brands like Mercedes, Marks & Spencer money and Mv Travel.
Richard is registered with Business Mentoring Scotland and acts as a mentor to other growing businesses. Committed to the ethos of learning from others, Richard shares the knowledge and experiences he has gained from the successes - and failures – of his career to date.
Richard previously co-founded a company called Maximedia, a small boutique software company which developed computer based interactive safety training programs for large companies including Shell , BP, Tarmac, Nestle and Laing O’Rouke
